Affordable Plane tickets
For us to get the best deals, we always check kiwi.com, then skyscanner.net, then the airline websites. We always book with Kiwi.
1. Kiwi.com - Have really cheap flights and can inspire you A LOT to travel! Their website is very easy to use and the map feature is really cool! You can see the prices of flights around you ! They even have a new feature called Nomad . This gives you the chance to stay for a couple of days in your stop overs before your final destination. This is really a good way to add a place to visit if you're flying far anyways. |

The code will be sent to your email. We usually reply within a day. Enjoy! |
Quick tip: Kiwi also automatically checks you in for your flight online, or if the airline wants manual check in from you, they will send you an email reminding you to check in. Most of the budget airlines in EU charges minimum 10 euros if you did not check in online.
2. Skyscanner.net - is another website we search for cheap tickets. However, the price that they show varies because they redirect you to the airline company's website or another OTA . It will show you possible flight connections even if it is different airlines, but you have to make separate bookings for your flights.
3. Airline websites - always check their prices just to make sure you have the cheapest option possible.

Quick Tip: We always cook when possible. a small trip to the supermarket with the same price as a budget for a drink in a bar goes a long way. We almost always have cooking equipment with us, or if you are couchsurfing, in a hostel or a friend's house, they have a kitchen that you can ask to use. If you have no kitchen access, you can always make sandwiches and have food on the go.

travel insurance is important
- One of the most important things that should be in your travel checklist is a travel insurance. This give you peace of mind for medical coverage when you get injured or sick, reimburse when one of your gadgets break and if you get your things stolen in the middle of your trip. You wouldn't want to have to pay for all of those from your pocket especially if you have the high end ones. There are many types of coverage in travel insurance, you just have to find the one that fits your needs.
- Always remember that just because you have a travel insurance doesn't mean you are covered for everything. You should always read your policy, it is boring I know, but it is the only way that you can be sure of what is included. Also for most of the travel insurances, you can always ask their customer support if there is anything you do not understand in the policy.
