Doksa Lake x Ladona Lake x Polylimnio

August is here again and this time we are heading to the Peloponese Region to the rivers and lakes to escape the summer heat!

​Crossing Mainland Greece to Peloponnese Region, we took a mandatory groufie in the  Isthmus of Corinth,  we went straight to  our first caping spot at Doksa Lake.

​​We went on walking paths around the lake and even went for a quick drive to see and explore the place for a bit. We were able to see wild horses drinking from the lake.

Spent three nights and three full days in Doksa Lake, we then started driving to our next destination.

​3 hours of driving in beautiful country road, we finally arrived in Ladona, our home for a few nights.
We managed to camp under the thick shade of Plane Trees all day long and of course, we are staying beside the river.

​We also went river trekking to ke the most out of our time in Ladona. This area is usually for river rafting and kayaking, so we explored the river and enjoyed a full day of trekking.

Ladonas was our home for 3 nights, then when we read that there may be rain in the following days, we decided to pack up and find another spot.

G knows of this area but because it's not in Google maps, getting there is a different story. We talked to a lot of people to find this paradise and finally we made it in Achladini!
The next day, we made a day trip to explore the place a bit and visited Nemouta where there were 2 waterfalls!

​We stayed in Achladini for 3 nights and we decided to head on to our last camp site for this trip. On the way, we stopped at Neda to visit the famous falls there.

We arrive in our final spot with the other guys for this trip, Polylimnio! There are 3 big pools here that are separated by small hikes. this place is paradise!

While Polylimnio is amazingly beautiful, we also made a daytrip to visit Stenosia waterfalls and Kalamari Waterfalls. After this the guys headed back to Athens and we will extend our trip for about a week or so more.
