 Looking back on our experiences in 2019. Closing the past decade full of experiences, and we are looking forward to more adventures and more of life.
We were in Norway from December 26th (2018) and we stayed in a beautiful home in the suburbs of Oslo. We were able to stay there through Trusted House Sitters. This has been a really wonderful experience (especially from me, living in Asia my whole life) to see this much snow, and the best part of it is that we were in a small town so it really felt like a scene from a movie that we were living everyday. We're back in Santorini! The sights keeps getting better and better every visit. April - CreteCrete is where G spent his university days so he knows the place quite well. We were able to go around, make a road trip and we eve set up camp in one of the most amazing places, Matala!
May - Central Greece and Evoia RoadtripWe went for a roadtrip in Evoia with a friend from Crete. This is an 8-day roadtrip from Athens to Evoia and Central Greece. From camping in front of the sea, exploring a sea cave, hiking and trekking, even having warm baths in front of the sea, this trip gives a glimpse of how beautiful Greece is!
June - Rhodes Island RoadtripRhodes Island - Greece Aside from the 1 euro tickets, we spent a whole week in Rhodes exploring the whole island and experiencing the old city with locals we met in the island, the places that they took us were amazing! You can check out the spots in the video below. Read more about this trip here. July- august - Northern Greece Roadtrip This was an epic road trip that lasted almost a month! There was a Canyoning excursion in Tzoumerka (Pyli Paradissos) that G had been chasing for the past 5 years. Since we are only 3 hours away from Albania, we went ahead and spent a couple of days to also explore Sarande. Read more about this trip here.
September - Beach Clean Up #trashtag
We've been away a lot this year already and we decided to make a trip really close to home. This is a beach where people don't usually go to because there were tons and tons of garbage brought by the sea. We realized that before heading away on mountain trails to clean mother nature, we can start cleaning our surroundings first. October Since we love watching detective series, we thought it was time for us to be one (at least for a day) so we tried CluedUpp! This is a detective game where you run around the city (literally!) to interview possible witnesses and solve a murder! November - Santorini (yes, again!)As we've mentioned in the beginning, we love coming back to Santorini <3
December - Home sweet home
We stayed home in December doing projects for the house, with sun like this, it's tricking your mind that it's still summer! Looking forward to a brighter and more creative 2020 ahead :)
